Douglas Lee Baldwin is an ancestor of the Wallace, Rutherford, Mair, and McEwan Scottish Settlement Families. He was born in Flint, Michigan in 1945, lived and worked in Saginaw, Michigan as a special education teacher for over thirty years. He traveled with his wife Katherine to Scotland on several occasions for fun and to do genealogy. He has traveled around the world and still visits far away lands as the spirit moves him. He began the research for this book in 2002; it became a hobby and a passion. He retired in 2007 from the public schools and now devotes his time to family, traveling, photography and writing.
